The Overseas 4500V is a steel sports watch from Vacheron Constantin, with a blue face, an automatic movement and a bracelet designed as part of its case. It tells the time and date. Its most unusual everyday feature is easier to find at the back of the bracelet than on the dial: a release allows the metal band to come off without tools.

Vacheron introduced this generation in 2016. The Overseas family had begun twenty years earlier, developing the house's interest in watches with shaped cases and closely fitted bracelets. Here, the case is 41 mm across, with a broad bezel cut into six sections around the face.

The Maltese cross appears in more than the small emblem beneath twelve. Its shape influenced the bezel and the stepped outlines of the bracelet links. Brushed surfaces and polished edges make those outlines visible even though case and bracelet share the same metal.

Blue fills most of the dial. Long metal hour markers surround three central hands, and a date window replaces the marker at three. There are no stopwatch counters or extra time-zone hands. The broad field of color remains intact.

Automatic caliber 5100 supplies the timekeeping. Through the sapphire back, a gold rotor is visible; its movement winds the watch as it is worn. The original specification included a 150-meter water-resistance rating.

The blue 4500V was offered with a steel bracelet, a fitted blue rubber strap and blue alligator leather. All three meet the same case through the exchange system. With the bracelet attached, the watch reads as a continuous metal object. With rubber or leather, the blue face is framed by a separate band of steel. Changing the attachment alters the design without changing the watch inside it.
