DOXA
SUB 200T Divingstar Iconic
804.10.361.10
The Divingstar is the yellow version of DOXA's SUB 200T, a compact steel dive watch introduced in 2024. It uses a large minute hand and a rotating timing ring to show elapsed minutes. Those are familiar diving-watch features; the clear yellow face makes this one look rather different from the black-dial watches that often use them.
DOXA's modern SUB designs descend from the orange SUB 300 of 1967. The 200T carries their rounded case and minute-first display into a smaller, 39 mm watch. Divingstar changes the color, not the purpose or water-resistance specification. Its stated rating is 200 meters, as on the orange Professional.
The yellow does not occupy the whole surface. A steel ring surrounds it, packed with black and yellow figures, and the case extends beyond that ring in broad, rounded shoulders. Against this busy frame, the face is relatively plain. Black outlines define the hands; white luminous centers separate them from the yellow beneath. The minute hand is much wider than the hour hand, so the display has a conspicuous emphasis even before its function is explained.
This is the Iconic finish, the more even-looking of DOXA's two dial treatments. The alternative Sunray dial sends reflections outward from the center. Here, the manufacturer's photograph shows a largely continuous field of yellow. The date at three o'clock is a small white interruption, not another large display.
The bracelet has rows of polished, rounded center links between broader outer pieces. They add a finer texture beneath the wide case. Inside is a Swiss self-winding mechanical movement; there is no separate stopwatch mechanism to operate. The bezel supplies the extra timing scale.
On the yellow version, the strongest contrast is not between different dial colors. It is between the broad, uncluttered face and the densely marked steel surrounding it.
